A good beginning...

My current focus verse, and a good focus for the rest of this blog:

"... whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you." -Philippians 4:8-9 NIV

*ETA note: not to confuse anyone, but I've omitted the "Finally, brothers" from the beginning of this verse, since this is the beginning of my blog...it just didn't seem to fit, and I didn't like other translations of this verse that began "Therefore" as much as the NIV
