Another card made for this week's Dare to Get Dirty challenges over at SCS. This one is a triple challenge card (what can I say, I'm getting desperate! I'll never finish them all otherwise!). I do want to revisit Michelle's (a.k.a. sf9erfan) Masculine card challenge, but that may come after this week is over, so I thought I'd fit it in with this card, that also covers Christine's (a.k.a. ChristineCreations) Watercolor Wow challenge and Holly's (a.k.a. Toy) sketch challenge. Did you get all that?
At first I thought I would have to tweak Toy's challenge, since I didn't have any oval dies to match the sketch, but then I remembered my Coluzzle oval template...Yay!! I knew I wanted to use my new Changito stamp (found in the clearance bin at Beverly's!!), then just kind of built from there. As I put in the Wasabi and the Chocolate Chip, I decided to make it for my pastor, who was sweet enough to watch *my* little monkeys while I went to an appointment this afternoon.
I also decided to try the color embossing technique with the Cuttlebug folders. (I've tried to find a link to the technique, but I can't! Sorry!) Basically you spread ink on one side of the folder, put in your paper, and emboss as usual. But the color goes into the embossed recesses, making the design really 'pop'. I used the D'vine Swirl folder and my Wild Wasabi ink pad so that the background would look a bit like vines *smiles*
Thanks for looking!
~Michelle

This is so stinkin' cute! I don't even know where to start - I love everything about it. How is it possible that I haven't been to your blog in so long? I'm putting you in my reader now so I don't miss any more!!
It looks great!! I've not been brave enough to try 3 challenges in one card, LOL! GO YOU!!
I love Changito!!! And you've done a wonderful job! I love the colours, I still haven't tried that technique with my Cuttlebug, I am still afraid of my brayer, LOL. Thanks for all the kind words on my blog, I really, really appreciate it...
Very fun card! love that changito swinging on his vine! I've doubled up on almost all of my challenges this week so don't feel badly!!
