Why in the world do I wait for an hour before the deadline to make a card?? I think it must harken back to school, when I was always working for a deadline and seemed to be more focused when I was short on time. Anyway, I used two Unity Stamp kits (Daisy Days and August's KOTM) to make this card for Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration (CI25):
I started with a 4 1/4" square card base in Ballet Blue, and stamped one of the flower images from Daisy Days in Versamark on it. Then I added a strip of Ruby Red, with one edge scalloped using my corner rounder, and topped that off with a strip of So Saffron, stamped with the swirl from Daisy Days in Versamark, and tied on a piece of Certainly Celery grosgrain. For my main 'image' panel, I used the quote from last month's KOTM (designed by Jessica Rose ...{love} her designs!) stamped in Ruby Red on Whisper White. I trimmed the panle close to the image, and adhered it to another panel of Whisper White using foam tape, then adhered all of *that* with foam tape to the card base I had 'built'.
This is also my card for Mattie...please check out JenMarie's blog for the full details (and see today's earlier post). *smiles*
Thanks for stopping by!
~Michelle
