Dare to Get Dirty '08 double challenge card

Whew! Dare to Get Dirty week is flyin' by for me, and I've only made two cards!! So, I decided to make this one fit two challenges! *wink* This one is for Lauren's (a.k.a. mytime) monochromatic and Jenn's (a.k.a. jbalcer) black & white wedding cake inspiration challenge.

Because of the wedding cake, I had a 'black tie affair' thought in my mind, and so I reached for my Basic Grey Black Tie papers...genius, eh? The papers I had were rather large-scale, though, so the paper piecing on the dress and the mat behind it are actually cut from the tags for this paper line (because I rarely ever use them as tags!). The paper to the side is from a magnetic list pad that I got from the $1 bin at Mike's this week, which I cut down and punched the edge using my SU! spiral punch.

I found the pewter brad in my stash, and thought it looked like a cuff link, so I used it to secure my ribbon almost like French cuffs. Then I added the two rhinestone brads for bling *smile*

Hope you enjoy my card! Go join the Fan Club, and play with us!! Happy stamping!
~Michelle
