Unity Challenge Wednesday #6!!

It's time for another Unity Challenge Wednesday! Today, Maggie gave us a sketch challenge, using this fantastic sketch:

Love it!! So many possibilities! This is the card I made today:

I started with a 4 1/4" x 11" card base of Bazzill cardstock (in Papaya, I think), folded in half to make a standard 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card. Then I added a strip of striped 'darling' dp from Basic Grey's Sugared line, with the right edge scalloped using my corner rounder. Then I stamped the butterfly from Unity's September KOTM in Cranberry Crisp on white carstock, and again on 'Dreamsicle' from Basic Grey's Two Scoops paper line, and paper pieced the butterfly, using Dimensionals. I adhered the glittered frame to the white, cut around the shape, and attached it to the card with foam tape. Then I stamped the sentiment at the bottom, and added the three adhesive half-back pearls, and the ribbon over the striped border. Easy peasy lemon squeezy! I just {love} sketch challenges! *smiles*

Be sure to check out the other cards made today (click HERE to go to the thread), and go to the Unity website to see the new October KOTM...it's adorable!!

Thanks for stopping by today!
~Michelle

Michele, LOVE it. Left you some love on SCS, too. Just love how you pieced the butterfly. And all the glitter makes it fantastique.

Fabulous card, and I'm not usually a fan of butterflies, so that should tell you something :)
