I partially embossed the cards using the D'Vine Swirls and Swiss Dot embossing folders (that card's not shown), wrapped a section of white twill around the top of the embossing, with the seam on the front of the card, to be covered up by the monogram. Then I punched circles with my second-to-largest Marvy Uchida circle punch (is that a Mega or a Giga?), stamped them with her initials, and punched scalloped circles with the largest Marvy Uchida scalloped circle punch to go behind. The twill and the monogram were both adhered using Glue Dots, since they're about the only thing that holds well to ribbon/fabric.
Next up: Tim Holtz's August Technique Challenge. This was seriously fun, and *fast*. The hardest part was figuring out which alcohol inks, and which stamp I wanted to use. Since Carte Postale was near the top from the "Be a Good One" card mentioned earlier, I used the small swirl as my image. I don't have the Archival Ink pad he listed, so I decided to try in with my Stazon pad, and it worked pretty well. It didn't remove completely from the Fragments, the way his sample did, but it did remove the alcohol inks, and the image ends up being mostly clear:

I'll be back tomorrow! Happy Monday!
