Sweet Cupcake Trio

Here's my happy little cupcake card! Love this color combo...I took it from the Spring-Summer 2008 SU! catalog (in that "Style Watch" section I mentioned in the previous post). The color combo for this is called "Eastern Eclectic", and it includes Old Olive, So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie, Groovy Guava, Cameo Coral, and Rose Red...such a fresh combo. I used all of them on this card except Cameo Coral and Pumpkin Pie.

The cupcakes were stamped on Very Vanilla, using Rose Red for the bases, and Pretty in Pink for the tops (this stamp set has the tops and bases separate, so this was really easy). For the center cupcake, I embossed the 'frosting' in white. I colored bases using my Blender Pen and Rose Red, then cut out all the pieces. I reassembled them on the squares using dimensionals, then put the card together, also putting the cupcakes' matted squares on dimensionals. How about that ribbon? It's a perfect Groovy Guava match, and was a Michael's $1 bin find from who knows when. *smiles*
